Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a BroadSoft / BroadWorks & SBC Engineer. As a BroadSoft / BroadWorks & SBC Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting BroadSoft / BroadWorks communication systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include configuring and troubleshooting VoIP solutions, designing and deploying unified communications platforms, and ensuring the smooth operation of the communication infrastructure. This contract position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work remotely. The position also requires travel in and around the Middle East, Türkiye and Africa.

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of the BroadSoft / BroadWorks platform.

Experience in configuring and troubleshooting VoIP systems.

Strong understanding of SIP protocol and Session Border Controllers (SBC).

Class 5 Softswitch experience would be beneficial.

Proficiency in network protocols and routing.

Strong knowledge of service provider networks, including MPLS.

Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud-based solutions.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Relevant certifications (e.g., BroadSoft Certified Engineer, Oracle SBC, SIP) are a plus.

Willingness and ability to travel in and around the Middle East and Africa.
